Maybe they are referring to Autosurf websites. All you need to do is to sign up for an account and log on to earn credits. The credits can be used to exchange for cash and that is how you earn from them. Once you have started autosurfing, the system will redirect you to members sites between an interval of 20-30s. It is easy to earn but not much. I think posting in MyLot can generate a higher earning than these traffic sites.

I think traffic sites are those site from where you can get traffic to your blog or we site. There are many traffic exchange sites available. There you have to surf others sites and in return you will earn traffic to you won blog or site. There you will visit a site for a limited time say 20 seconds after that you can switch to next site. They may also offer you some money apart from traffic to your site. But one thing I would like to mention is that this is not how you will get real traffic to your blog or site because the traffic you will get will not be really interested in the content that you provide in your blog or site.
