Have you ever wish you were lucky?

I mean lucky like people who won a car or a big amount of money from a grand prizes or lotteries, instead of winning a washing machine, an iron, a fan or a set of cooking ware. But I don't mean to be lucky like you were born in a rich family, not that kind of lucky. I wished to be someone like that before but then I realized I had to stop dreaming because dreaming isn't going to take you where you want to be. I need some actions. Besides, I think I don't have that kind of luck. I believe there are people who doesn't have to work hard to earn a good living and in the contrary there are some people who have to work their bones and sweats for their life. I think I'm more like the second group. Besides, I have this thing in my mind telling me not to regret not to have such luck. I enjoy working too. It really keeps me alive. It feels different to get something that you had work for than just to get it just like that in a lucky draw. But I'm not saying I don't like lucky draws. I, of course, like to get something from a lucky draw. Just to check my luck :D

hmmm lucky is just coincidence if you mean those that easily win in lotteries and stuff like that.. for me, i am lucky in a sense that i have a family, my kids and huby that makes me happy in so many ways, we may not be rich but we have enough for us to survive and i dont think of that as lucky sometimes, that is a blessing frm God above and luck do not have anything to do with it..it is prayer. plus there are people you think who are lucky because they are rich or have many riches but you never know if they are really happy or what inside.

5'm not talking about lucky in general like having a good family. Because I feel lucky too for having my parents and raised me the way I am. I'm lucky to have supportive brothers and father that understand me and are willing to help me whenever I'm in need. I don't consider to be born in a rich family is a luck because material can't make me happy. Just a simple luckiness in life.

Hell yeah I do. I haven't got much of a luck factor as is evident from my college selection and school admissions. Many people with lower talents than me got into better institutes because of their one second split second decison or that one letter. While I was stuck with a more conventional method of admission that put me into this stupid college. Also, I have never won lotteries. One of my friends won a mobile, one a Swatch watch....But me, "Better Luck next time"

lucky to me means much more than material things... i shouldn't say lucky... but i will use the word blessed... i always feel blessed in this life since i am young until now... i feel that God's blessings are abundant to me and i am always content with what i have... health, family, hubby, house, a job, and much more... take care and have a nice day...

I think that everyone wishes to be lucky, I mean, it would be awesome to win a car or the lottery, and nobody can deny that. I mean, it's not like you have to accept what you win, but most people do. You could give it to charity if you thought it was like a 'Free break' or something. But yeah. Winning something like that makes you feel more alive as well, and it really keeps your spirits up. Not many people can say that they have won the lottery, because it's nearly impossible. I'm still young, and haven't had too much experience yet. But even I wish I could be that lucky.

Thanks, and it's never too late to keep wishing. Just don't let the wishing take over your everyday things and whatnot. A wish in the back of the mind isn't enough to steer one from everyday things, and sometimes it's easy to get reality and fantasy mixed up. Just gotta keep them in line is all. Have a nice day!

Yeah, I think everybody must ever wish that kind of luckiness. I just finally give up wishing. Because I'm a bit kind of like to dream and I'm afraid it would carry me over too far from reality. Thanks for responding. Good luck with your younghood. Enjoy it! ;)

Yes, Everyone loves to be lucky. But on second thought, a reality transports me back in reality from utopia. I am a firm believe of hard work. Your hard work makes your luck. The more hard work, the more luck you have. Suppose, by luck I get car, bungalow or millions of rupees, I don't think I would enjoy them as much as things I have got with the help of my sincere and constant labour and hard work.Your hard word does pay you in the long run. Believe in your luck as well, but take every care not be carried away by luck. Mere dependence on luck will lead you nowhere.

Lucky, in my opinion, is just about a mindset. When we have a mindset that we are lucky person, then everything we do will be blessed with lucky. I always use this mindset in my daily activities. I don't mean that i'm lucky because i won a free car, etc. But my lucky is i can finish my job on time without any interuption. Lucky is just a feeling, not really a thing. Have a nice day and happy mylotting.

No, I'm not talking that kind of being lucky. Because I feel lucky for God to give me a good family that rise me so that I become an open minded person. That part I really grateful about. My family was not rich till now, my mom passed away for almost 9 yrs ago, many things happened. But every time I look back, I always remember how lucky I was. I'm talking about simply being lucky to win some prizes. Thanks.

Every one wants luck, but they don't want to work for it. They just want it to poof, they are lucky, they will win the lottery, and what did god want us to do, serve him, not server your self.
