I don't know if you guys are watching this currently but I am so psyched by this TV series, Harper's Island. A group of people tend to die 'one by one' and I have followed closely the series. The question is; who do you guys think is the killer? And are there 1 or possibly 2 killers on the killing rampage?

Have you guys watched Harper's Island? Who do you guys think the killer is?

LOL...I thought so too.
. But some had to wake up around 6 ish and 7, and on a Monday blues some more. They said the 1030 slot would run up till 1130 and they wouldn't get their beauty 8 hours sleep. And before you guess, most of them are females and only some male. So there you go...no offense to ladies out there...
You are right. If there is 2nd season, it'd be kind of a bummer. Who to kill then? LOL...

I'm a mystery buff so I've been following this since it started, though I nearly missed an episode when they moved it to Saturday.......
As to who the killer is, I haven't a clue. I thought it was 'daddy of the bride' until he got sliced and diced........lol

I love this show! I am kind of bummed that it is not on this week.
I don't think JD is the killer. Why would he kill his uncle and girl friend?
I thought it might be Abby, but then why would she kill that girl, JD's girlfriend, and would she be strong enough to hoist her up on that beam? Also, would a woman be strong enough to cut of the Pastor's head with one chop?
Maybe it is Jimmy or his friend, Shane? They are locals and appear to be very strong men.
I can't wait til next week to see what happens next!

I will have to wait til Sunday morning to watch it this week. I have to work Saturday night until midnight and will just be too tired to watch when I get home.
The girl who plays Abby reminds of Abby from e.r.
I was surprised to see how gory the show could be while being on network tv. Harry Hamlin's murder was quite gross!

Hi Trace. I love the show too...so many clues and yet no one seem to be able to guess the killer. I'm like you too; but as for me, I thought that in the first place it was Henry, because Thomas had underestimated his capabilities at first, but it doesn't seem right that it's Henry the groom. I'm guessing it has something to do with the past murderer, and yup, I'm suspecting the lines of Jimmy and Shane as well. Both of them are not related to the guests in any way. But then again, the first killing under the boat, if you could remember. During that time Jimmy/Shane weren't there. So it has to be one of the guests invited for the wedding. Perhaps. Here in my country, we are also going to get 1 week delayed telecast as well, oh bummer that.

I think you are right. Which leads on into thinking; if Harper's Island killer or killers is/are found, then how would the writers develop the story into a second season then. It can't be like Prison Break 1,2,3 and etc. Hmmmmp, that's food for thought definitely. Thanks for your contribution, AmbiePam.

I have watched from the beginning and enjoy the mystery a lot. At first I thought it was the sherrif, but now am not sure at all. It really does keep you wondering. Brother of the grrom seems a strong candidate too, but maybe he is just strangely disturbed.

Hi nova. I thought it was the Sheriff too, especially when he had all the clippings of the past murders on the wall. Seems the mystery is lingering, but just can't contain my excitement on whose the killer. I am trying to think hard and I'm going to think it's someone within the clan. Perhaps so. Yup, I agree the brother is kind of deranged, but I don't think he is capable of killing. It is to confuse viewers into thinking it might be him. There are some saying it's Henry (the groom), but I doubt so. But who knows, anything is possible on Harper's Island.

It's great that you are catching it, Ravenladyj. At least there are friends liking it too. I just can't wait to find out who the actual killer is; it's sort of killing me, ha! And it's not helping that one by one of the victims are being slaughtered like nothing. Good series so far, and hope you are able to catch up with the missed episodes soon.

I'm sure the plot will have many twists, but isn't it possible Wakefield might still be alive or have had a partner/imitator who is doing the killings now? That man with the scarred face who sent his dog after the bride and her father was surely creepy. However, the first person to die was tied underneath the boat so that suggests the killer might be someone on the boat. None of the wedding guests really seem like killers to me, so I'll be surprised if that supposition is correct.

You have some good thoughts there. The scarred face man was sure scary and it was shown that he had unleashed the dog which then chased Trish and Thomas Wellington. As for the first episode whereby the murder was under the boat (man, that totally made me rooted to the TV, so scary), you are right. It was before they set journey to the island, so it has to be the workings of an insider. Can't wait for the next unraveling of events.

I finished watching Harper's island on DVD and it was really fantastic because I loved murder-suspense genre. The story has many twists and I love the way its scene was executed which left the audience craving for more episodes.
As we all know, it's Henry Dunn who is the killer and the accomplice of John Wakefield who turned out was his father. It was pretty surprising considering that he is the groom-to-be.

That's awesome you've managed to watch it all. When the show was first aired, I kind of suspect him and the fisherman. But then, when he's always missing in action, I started to wonder whether he's the real killer and it turned out right. Don't think there will be anymore of such a story. Great one at that..
