As we know swine flu spead all over the world I have read a news two days ago that a Chinese student who returned his hometown Sichuan Province became a swine flu patient . So a lot of Chinese are worring about this . Everyone is afraid of being infected by swine flu because in 2003 that SARS came through over the China . We still have a shadow of it inside us . Many people lost their livies and health at that illness. So swine flu comes we are preparing for this . I am sure our goverment are making efforts on controling its spreading with enough urgent affairs's experience.

Actually I am not so afraid of swine flu. Compare to SARS, the swine flu is still less harmful and horrible. I have experienced SARS so that I can truly know how scared I was at that time. At least swine flu seems to be cured. I love China

Hi youetme, after learning from the news recently, I really afraid of swine flu. Yeah, I learn that the said disease would spread from person to person easily. I’m only an ordinary human but not a poison immunity person. I know we might have lots of trouble if becoming a swine flu carrier or patient. How horrible to get such dreadful disease. The swine flu suspected patient or patient is forced to be quarantined for at least 7 days. This is to stop the disease from spreading widely. We are advised not to go near crowded public areas as the said disease might spread easily there. For the purpose of health and safety we will better stay at home. Happy posting and take care.

Yes I'm afraid of it because you don't know if you have the regular flu or the Swine Flu. I know you can die from either or but the fact that it is another virus to worry about and it so easily spreaded I'm definitely taking precautions for my children and myself.

I myself am not worried too much about it, I feel if i just take care of myself I'll be just fine. It's not good to live in worry and think too much about things like this.. you'll just stress yourself out and even make yourself sick in some cases. It is a very serious thing that's going on, but I have faith that it will be taken care of... all I can do is pray about this and pray for the families affected by it.

The truth about swine flu is, 75% of it is just a hype by media. There are many disease because of which millions of people die, its not just swine flu. The 25% of this is true because we have just encountered a new disease or flu for which we are not aware of, and strange thing about swine flu is that the viruses of swine flu mutates with which even vaccine doesn't work. Though scientists are just about to come with a universal vaccine for swine flu that it can be stabilized. And about its coming, it will spread if respective governments don't take any measures like making vaccine or medicines available even at the grass rote level. God Save Us All....

People die every day from horrible diseases, and even the regular old flu that a lot of people get every year. I'm still not sure what the big to-do is about this particular strain of flu. But to answer your question, no I'm not afraid of it.

No. Not at all even. I've had pneumonia and that was tolerable. I've had seasonal flu and it kills more people every year than the swine flu is going to wipe out. The big hype over this mutation of influenza seems based around it carrying genetic traits of common seasonal flu, previous swine flu and avian flu. This could be potentially bad for us because of it's obvious ability to mutated from one species to another so easily. While the virus is not a terribly aggressive virus and lasts most people less than a week, it's target audience varies from that of the regular flu. The common flu tends to attack mostly the elderly and children and in comparison lays off younger adults. This mutation of the flu seems to be hitting all ages and seems much more indiscriminate. As far as I have learned from following it in the news and in different articles I've read, you don't have to worry too much about it unless your immune system or your overall health is already compromised. This is only my opinion based on my observations. I hope this eases your mind about the whole thing. Hopefully this flu doesn't become more aggressive or get out of control in any way for that matter. Who knows, this could be it for us all. Or just a great way to sell TheraFlu.

Yes I am a little afraid. In two weeks I will go to Beijing for about one month. I don't know what will happen when I arrive the capital airport. I heard passagers from abroad to China will be checked body temperature, etc. I also experienced SARS in Beijing in 2003 I know how peolpe think and how people will do with the swine flu. The only good news I heard yesterday said it's very slim chance for healthy people to get the disease.

Well, whatever has to happen will happen. If i have to be infected with swine flu, i shall be. Its all in god's hand. And i am not afraid of any illness that is spreading around the world. Fear only makes matter worse and i believe the flu is being controlled strictly to reduce its spreading. Even if many people are dying because of it, we do not have to panic because what is destined will happen.
