I recently joined MySpace so that I can see the pics that my family posts of vacations and such, but I have been thinking about old friends lately. My husband just got into contact with people he went to highschool with and I was thinking about all the people I have lost contact with. So today I have been going through an old yearbook and trying to find some folks on MySpace, I actually found several and have sent a friend requests. I was wondering if anyone out there in MyLoy land has done the same, and about your results.

On myspace not every one uses their real name for signing up and their page has a display name which is a clever username or such. I think you will have better luck on Facebook. (htpp://www.facebook.com) On facebook you can search old friends using full names, maiden names, High school they graduated from, where they work, live and so on. This is more progressed and professional site for re-connecting and i think you will tons of luck on it. You can find almost anyone you'd like to. if you don't find them, they most likely do not have a facebook.

I found some of the people by using full names, email addresses, and the school they graduated from, despite that real names were not always used. I do not plan on opening a facebook page because I really did not want a myspace, but I have family all over the country and they use it for pictures. But I will keep it in mind if I really want to find others.
