On my neighborhood, all the wireless connections were secured. Which means that they set up their own password to prevent other people use their wireless connection free. I did the same for my own.
One day, my laptop detected a free network connection. It might be one of new neighbor who forget or doesn't know how to set up a password for its network connection. Me, or others can share its wireless connection for free. Do you ever use someone's free wireless connection at home?

It's same over here. All the wireless connections were secured. However, I had encountered in the past that there's actually 1 or 2 wireless connection which are unsecured. I do not use their free wireless connection as I'm on unlimited internet access plan. So whether if I use 20mins per day, or 20hours a day, the monthly bills will amount the same. Thus, I rather use my own one as usually my own internet connection is better too.

I have done once but i was getting bthe internet installed the next day and i had permission fro the neighbour who wireless it was. Otherwise I wouldnt, its unfair people pay for a service and its unfair to tap into it!!
