I don't think this is what they had in mind.

Thee are three commericals that aire where I either can't get passed how mean the tone is or I just plain prefer the " villain".There is a Windex commerical where a mom cleans the windows to get her kids up . so the boys get ready for school but it is Saturday and the crows watching asked when was the mom going to tell them it is Saturday and laugh. sorry I don't find it funny and worse, this commerical makes me want to buy anything But Windex.and ther are the fios vs cable. well the guy who plays he cable guy has beautiful red hair. he makes me love my cable more and more. And last but not least, Weight watchers has a commericals where this fuzzy orange thing is you hunger. He is so cute, I wish he was a plush toy. i don't think these products want me to feel this way , do you?

I'm with you on those. The initial Windex ones where the crows are laughing at the guy cause he walks into the sliding glass door cause it is so clean is funny.. point well taken. And where they fly into the window on a bet and the windex is so clean they hit the window... again, point well taken. But the one with the boys/school... yeah, bit villian-ish... what mom would do that to her kids? I mean, washing the windows to let the sun shine in and get them out of bed, okay, but to let them run to school cause they think they are late or wrong day.. that is just to me, a bad mom thing to do! I love my kids more than that! I don't understand why the crows have any part in that one!!! The WW one...how stupid is that! It took me a few times of watching it to even understand what it was saying or about! Would have been better to have the person with a rubber swim ring around their belly and dealing with that, than some orange plush toy floppy everywhere! The cable guy one.. think I have seen it, not sure...it is probably the one that don't make sense to me cause it is so stupid and talks you around hte topic so much that I don't stick with it to see the end! I mute commercials most of the time!

I am not a mom so I still look at things from the child's point of view. I would never , never forgive my mo for not letting me sleep on a weekend.I was lucky, my mom wold come in and gently pull on my foot to wake me.and she would let me sleep on weekends.I guess she was still happy that i was sleeping period. I was born a night owl, It was hard to get me to sleep and nothings changed.

You are just like my mom. She knew I would stay up all night when school was out so the only time she would wake me is when she had to.

Thanks for BR. I ALWAYS let my kids sleep pretty much as long as they wanted on Saturdays. THey worked hard that week to - school ain't easy, and neither is being a kid - so they got to sleep if they wnated to.

Right now I feel like the geico commercials have really slipped...I mean a pile of money with the gecko on it? Big change from the ones that used to be good..I'll say it once again too...those cathetar commercials really bite me...almost make me sick! I haven't found one really lately that I like....and the two commercials I listed above don't do a thing for me.

I thought the same about the Geico commercials. Little lizard used to be cute and funny.. now is it just stupid and out of place
