Anyone else find the site SLOW?

For as popular as it is I find the site super slow on many occasions. Sometimes I wonder if it's just me. But then I come here or other communities with alot of traffic and I do not have the delay that I do on Facebook. You know when I had dial up I never even bothered because it took over 5 min I kid you not for the page to load. I have upgraded to DSL and goodgrief it seems to go as slow as dial-up did. I'd hope they are making enough revenue to do an upgrade or something.
Anyone else find the site slow?

Yes, sometimes I find Facebook slow too. I think it is because of the tons of users and applications that are present now in Facebook unlike before. There were also several times that when I open Facebook, my computer just got stucked. I get so irritated when that happens. When I open other sites, it does not get stuck. Just Facebook. So I knew Facebook was the real problem and culprit when my IE or Mozilla gets stucked.

Yeah the applications seem to run slower than anything else. That's why I dont' partake in too many of them between that and being unsure what "access" you are granting when you get a new application ya know?

i have dsl and i don't experience that much of a delay at all. Maybe you just have a lot of applications or tabs opened all at the same time. Or you can try scanning your computer for any viruses. Sometimes, viruses could slow your internet connection down as well.

Yes , Facebook seems to run really slow for me also. Other websites I visit seem to be just fine, but I get to facebook and it slows to almost a freeze .
It's good to know it's not only me with the problem. Hopefully it will get better soon.

I've heard several complaints about the site being slow but I haven't had a problem with it. It could be that your area has a lot of internet traffic and the "pipe" is clogged up a bit. That can be really frustrating! I hope it doesn't continue for you, I just hate it when the 'net is slow.

Well ya know you don't pay DSL prices for "dial-up" speed ya know?!?! I just figure maybe I go on when it's too busy perhaps? It's not too bad during an odd hour.

Yeah, I find it the same thing. So slow and I'm glad to know that you also have the same experience I think its with my computer connection.
