How do you like your corn prepared, on the cob, cream style, kernel?

one night when I was a kid, we had fried round steak for supper, but my mom had made no gravy. I used the cream style corn as gravy that night, and I liked it, been using it ever since!

I am from Iowa so there is no comparison to corn on the cob for me!
