Do you pretend that you're sick and absent for work or for school? due to bad economic, people still went to work even when they're sick, they're afraid of being sack by the company. do you still go to work when you're sick and get a mc and stay at home?

I have not absent myself for work. I feel odd if I were to stay at home when I am supposed to be at work. If I have something to do for the day, I will apply leave from the company. If I am sick, I will not go to work. I will get a medical certificate from the doctor and stay at home to have a good rest.

When I was a kid I used to pretend I was sick to stay home the odd time. Mostly when we had to do our public speaking or some other type of presentation as I was very shy. Now that I am working I try to be there as much as possible. We do not get paid sick days and I cannot afford to miss any days at work. I only stay home if I am very sick . If my kids are sick I will stay home with them, but luckily they are pretty healthy.

I'm a homemaker so I can't pretend to be sick and even if I'm really sick I still have to take care and look after my kids and do the house chores. No sick leaves for stay at home mum.
