We do drink alkaline water before though I'm not sure if its alkaline water, just the man in the water station said its alkaline water. I don't know if it has health benefit or just plain marketing strategy as people nowadays are more concerned in their health. Maybe that's also the reason why there are lots of energy and vitamin water out in the market today.

I was tempted to buy a shower tap which can turn tap water to vitamin water, it claimed it help skin condition. I always think businessmen just want to make money in many different ways, I am not so sure if it really works.

Yes, I have also noticed that a lot of water refilling stations are joining the "ALKALINE WATER" band wagon. However, I do not know if they really have alkalinized their water supply since, I know for one it is very expensive to turn regular tap water to alkaline water.

Hmm, its the first time I have heard of a shower tap which converts regular tap water to vitamin water, I'm curious. How do they do that? Or is it another marketing strategy or propaganda.

I bought such a machine last year, and share the water with my neighbor. We had problem with digestion in the past, esp. after eating meat. The electricated alkaline water helps to balance our PH value, less likely to be infected, as is said. And after purifying, the water tastes much better than the city water. We cannot do without it anymore. Without the machine, we have to buy anyway. It is expensive, but if lasting for eight or ten years, it is a deal.

This is what my brother in-law also keeps telling me about. Alkaline water helps them in their digestion and he is very much convinced that alkaline water indeed can help in improving our health. That's why I post and ask people about their views on alkaline water to help me decide whether or not purchase the machine. I appreciate your response.

We have purified water in our house and sometimes I drink mineral water or alkaline water. It might be good for the body but too much minerals might not be good also. cheers!!

I don't know as I never heard of alkaline water.
I only tried Diamond water last year, but I stopped when the trial period was over.
If I can efford and it doesn't have any bad effects of using this alkaline water, I think I may try it a month or two.

I drink alkaline water. In fact I sell it too. I'm sure it's alkaline because the lab results measure the PH level as well. I've read all the research that it's healthy. I'll get back to you all in a couple of months or so and I'll talk about any improvements in my health, if any. At the very least, I know it's clean, it has minerals and I like the taste. That's good enough to convince me.
