Every profession has some health hazards. They are called the occupational hazards. For the computer operators, apart from the eyes, there is another great issue of wrist pains. the wrists are resting just near the key board and one wrist is on and off near or on the mouse. Few days back, my friends right wrist all of a sudden started paining. When he contacted the doctor and wanted to know the reason he told this is called CARPAL TUNNEL SYNDROME. He warned my friend to take rest for some time in a day and use some mild anti-inflammatory lotions. He also further told that in acute cases, surgery can be done, but it does not success all the time.
Do you experience such wrist pain problem ?

Before i have that kind of problem it is because i get lazy when typing. But now i have learned something so that i will not get the wrist pain again. Try not to lean your wrist when typing. It will surely help!!

Yes, I experience wrist pain all the time. I broke my left wrist in 1978 when my horse stumbled and fell with me and I fell off. I put my hands out to break the fall and that's how it got broken. Both of my wrists have been sore off and on a lot since. I don't think typing on this computer is much help, either. Also, my knuckles hurt a lot. Whenever I hold my little dog, she likes to bite on my hands and fingers a lot and that can make them painful. I'm going to a rheumatologist in Tuscaloosa, Alabama next Wednesday to see if it's possible I might have rheumatoid arthritis. All of my joints are sore a lot. Kathy.
