YES! He is still one of the best players in the game. Maybe his last two seasons weren't as great as others in his career, but it doesnt mean they should trade him. But if i were him i'd try and get out of NY as quick as possible. I dont know what he was thinking when he signed that contract.

I was hoping the Astros would trade for A-rod, to play third base here.

I think Alex Rodriguez is still a better shortstop than third baseman. I believe thats one of the reasons why he has had so many errors in the last two seasons. He was an excellent player at shortstop, so the yankees should have seen some problems coming. I bet if they move Jeter to a different position he'll have his own struggles.

The positions are a bit different, but Arod can handle third well enough. His value is with the bat. The Yankees are better with him than they would be without
