Hi nirmalsaurabh, me and my fiancee started out in a long distance relationship. It wasn't that easy, there are more efforts and a lot of trust and patience. Proving that your love for each other is worth it. Anyway I just believe if it's really for you, it's really for you no matter the distance is. I also think even if it's near or far it's how strong your love for each other that counts a lot. Now were together, well being close not far from each other anymore, I prefer it this way. Cause you can easily communicate, and talk problems out easily. Spending wonderful moment holding each other hands. And no more doubting with each other. Right no I would prefer a short distance relationship. Anyway it's how you deal with it no matter how near or far are you both. Have a nice day to you!

actually it doesn't matter if it is long distance or short distance relationship. love never count or measure distances. its a matter of commitment and trust to each other.

short distance relationship is far way better than long distance relationship..i'm in a long distance relationship right now and i can say that it's really hard even if there's this chat and text thing...but because of love and trust we have each other we're still going strong.. happy mylotting

I would definitely have to say short distance relationships are better. I used to drive back on fourth to see my boyfriend (4 hours...ick) and I was always concerned he might be cheating when i was not their. Now I live with my boyfriend, & sometimes I feel that we are TOO close. Before, we used to make plans to go out spend time w/ each other...now we just sit at home & watch tv. I would say...do not make a relationship too far, but not too close either.

For me, short distance relationship is always better and reassuring. :-)

I will choose short distance relationship over the other. I know that we have email and chat and text message now to fill the gaps. Yet, I believe that there is nothing more (ahh, I can't seem to find the right word) perhaps, there is nothing better than looking into each other's eyes. Not through a video call Nor through a webcam. But through the thin air that separate yours and your beloved's.

Me and my boyfriend we live the same vicinity and we are 3 minutes far from each other, Its good as we can see each other whenever we want but it is a disadvantage as I have to make sure my parents or someone who knows either me or him very well do not see us. So in everything we have good and bad, but the feelings we share is something very valuable.

i've been in both, and prefer to have a "short distance" relationship. i like being able to spend time with my partner often and share my day-to-day life with them. i've been in a successful long distance relationship before (the distance part being successful, atleast) although it was only for nine months. it actually worked out well and there was no fidelity issues. our case was unique, however. most people aren't okay with it. i do believe that a long distance relationship can and they DO work, however it takes true commitment and love on both ends.
