how many of you know to program in html???

Depends on how you define "program in html". If you are talking about using HTML tags to create a web page that the browser knows how to render, then yes, I know how to do that. In fact I used to think that won't be necessary in the past as there are so many WYSIWYG tools out there to help you out. Then, I realize that while those tools are powerful, they can sometimes be too powerful that I have to understand the HTML so as to leverage their powers which finally makes me able to use HTML.

I know html, or xhtml, with css. By the way, strictly speaking, html is not a program; it is rather a markup language, where you describe the appearance of a web page. You also call it authoring html, not programming.

i can do basic html why? i mean you can write it up in a basic programme like notepad!

HTML - Hyper Text Markup Language, is not a programing or scripting language. It is a formating language used by web browsers to format and display information on a screen. Yes, I know it, but not very well. It's good to know, but for the most part, modern WYSIWYG editors such as Dreamweaver would handle all of this for you, including even he programming (as drop in plug-in modules).

Hi srikool, I know about html but not at an advanced level.I love to do programming.I have an idea about it.It is not a programming language.It is a mark up language that means it is a scripting language which helps the browser to understand what to display to the front end users. Have a nice day
