I hate to shop! Don't you?

The crowds. The people. Standing in line. I absolutely hate the entire process! Of course I'm talking about shopping in the real world, not online. I'm the type of person who has a mission when I'm shopping. I know what I want. I want to get into the store, get what I want and leave. That's it. Nothing more. I don't like to look at all the stuff, compare, etc. Blah, blah, blah. People are annoying and rude! Especially when there's some kind of sale going on. I think the thing that irks me the most about shopping is when there's no cash register available for the people buying 10 items or less. I always get stuck behind someone that has a full cart and I've only got one or 2 things I'm buying. Do you think they'd let me go before them????? Of course not!!! They'd have to wait another 30 seconds for me to get my transaction done! Poor babies.......

I love to shop when I have a budget, lol... but I'm not the type who'll usually roam and search every corner just to look for something that is cheap to buy. Whenever I see something that I like, I pay for it right away regardless of the price... when i'm shopping for shirt, i just choose one style and get 3-5 different colors, im a lazy shopper... that's why often I just ask my mom to shop for me, she knows exactly what I like and she loves doing it anyway... lol..

Ah....to have the luxury of a personal shopper! lol. When it comes to my mom, there is no way I'd let her shop for me! She loves to do it. I just don't like what she buys for me. Usually something that's better suited for her than for me, or, even worse, some "old lady" style!

I completely disagree with you! I love to shop in stores! I also hate the crowds and standing in line. But you dont have to deal with that just to shop! If you learn your store, you will find out when their busy times are. Just yesterday, I went shopping. I dont think I saw more than 10 other people in the entire store! No one was in another person's way. No one was being rude. I didnt even have to wait in line to check out! I always know what I want when I go shopping. If I simply went and bought what I wanted without shopping around, I would waste so much money! I bought 7 items yesterday for the normal price of just one of them! That is definitely worth shopping around.

If only the slow times at the store actually coincided with my free times! I wouldn't mind to shop either if there weren't many people. When I have something specific in mind to buy, I certainly take the time to compare the prices of that particular product in that section. Depending on what it is, I'll go for the lowest price but I'm not going to push and shove to get the sale items. That's what I hate. It's like people lose their senses of their surroundings and the fact that other people are shopping too. Me, me, me! Too much of that makes a sour shopping experience for me.

like you i know what i want to get and leave the store as fast as i can but some times i like to know what i am buying and then i check diferent stores and there prices. if i have many things and some one is waiting in line behind me i simply let them go before me because i dont like people to wait because of me.

I'm with you on this. I hate malls, more specifically. They are sooo annoying - all of the preteens with their rich daddy's credit cards, teens "hanging out", screaming babies and annoying cell-phone people, annoying sales associates.. I usually have a specific list with me, too, because I hate just "browsing" and not getting anything done.

I also hate that people will drop their preteens and young teenagers off at the mall to hang out! I wish that the malls would implement rules saying there has to be someone over 18 with them if everyone in the group isnt 16. (I think 16 is ok, because they drive themselves there.)
