Should I and HOW do I clean out a Jeep Fuel Tank?

Hello and Thanks for the recent response!!! I did a pressure check on my fuel line prior to removal of the fuel pump, and then the fuel tank on my Jeep Cherokee, and the pressure test FAILED, as there was NO residual pressure on the line after shutting the engine off, so since the fuel tank is now OUT of the Jeep and doesn't look too bad, should I still clean it or have it cleaned prior to reinstalling it??? As for taking it to a shop or the dealer, I'm on disability income and can't afford the minimum $300.00 charge of most shops. If the fuel pump doesn't do the job, I'm then going to replace the MAP sensor, and then the TDC sensor.
