Forgive and Forget

Do you easily forgive then forget? Well as for me, I find it easy to forgive someone especially if that person is dear to me. As much as possible, I want to be in good terms with everyone. But after I forgive, I don't really forget. Even if I have forgiven someone, the pain he/she caused me will always be there in my heart. Do you think it's right to do that? Am I keeping grudges?

There is alway a saying its easily to forgive than forget and I believe so too. I will alway forgive my dear ones but will alway remember what they did to me. Its not that I don't want to forget it but I just can't.

Wow. I actually do that to. It is really hard to forget what others did to you especially if you really got hurt. Thanks to your response!
