Successful after buying internet marketing eBooks, seminars or courses?

Hi,
I have been on the internet for years and purchased several internet related eBooks, courses etc. but found most of it was hype and what was "promised" never did really work as I had hoped for.
I want to know if you have purchased internet marketing eBooks, seminars or courses that really made a different and earned you a lot of money?
Please remember NO affiliate links in your reply but feel free to mention the name of the product, the authors name etc.
I am not looking to join or purchase anything now just share ideas and experiences with other MyLot members.

I wouldn't waste my money on all that junk. You basically covered it as "hype" because that's all most of it is. Either that, or people sell you information that you can easily find out for free about on the internet. I think the reason that some of them make so much which might be true is because of all the worthless information they're selling to others.
I think really the best things for success are Trial & Error, Providing something that someone needs that's innovative and original, taking your time and doing your research, realizing that you won't make your money overnight, and the most important. Building a solid plan, and backup plans in case that solid plan doesn't work out how you would hope. Oh, and two very popular ones. Thinking outside the box and finding out what works for others(and I mean really works, not what people "claim" works.)

Well, if you're a celebrity or "well-known" in any sense that "make me money instantly" button does exist(for example an ex-president writes a book.) but until you're to that point, or you be unethical and sell "helpful information" or do many other unethical things that're perfectly legal you have to work for your money! 
It's hard and does require an effort but people seem to get blindsided because they start looking and start believing in all these false promises throughout the internet and end up shelling out money and then from there on their whole belief system about earning online changes after being "scammed" by the person they purchased a given guide from.
It really isn't "hard hard" though. Really, people just need to do some extensive research and use whatever skills they possess and will be dedicated to(such as a hobby) and as long as they're taking it seriously they should start to eventually turn some real profit.

I think pay for coaching is the best part to learn internet marketing. Today is not difficult to find coach trainer, but you must carefully, try visit digitalpoint, there is many experienced coach trainer there.
Coaching can be done through an instant manager or others similar. You will got direct learning.

Over the past few years, I have purchased a number of e-books and courses on how to earn money on the internet. Most of these are related to internet marketing. I would say having gone through what has been taught in these courses and books, I am wiser to the methods and strategies that are available for marketing products on the internet. I wouldn't have gained this knowledge if I didn't spend any money to learn the know-how of these methods. Unfortunately, I haven't achieved great success yet in earning the big money. One reason is because it is not always easy to employ the strategies taught. Furthermore, the people who teach such strategies are probably already successful, having done it for some time already, while many of us are just starting out only to try and achieve success.

Hey Bath, Welcome to my lot! I have actually purchased quiet a number of ebooks and business programs and even have attended seminars but I did come to the conclusion that they are waste of time and you're just making the person selling those products richer. Starting an online business is possible without any investments and I'm not talking about affiliate marketing as I find that as a waste of time too.
I too have been searching for years and the best way I have found out to earn money online is either starting a blog, or you could write your own ebook and sell but never make any investments online as they are all scams.

Sure, I often buy things from internet, such as from Ebay...it is wonderful experience as they will send the products to my door and I needn't go out for purchasing! I bought my little toys and electrical device!

i havent made alot of money but i did start my business from a book and it did take off, i can affored my lease on my building, affored new products for my shop and still bring home a $500 payroll check every week. I started a shop in my small home town. They seel pretty nicly in a ruel area.
the book dosnt tell you about one company, it tells you about a whole list of companys you can order wholesale from. and it also tells how to obtain all the employer id numbers and how to start an LLC for free (other places say you have to buy a EIN AND LLC but you dont)
it gives you so many ideas and tools. everyone should infact read this book and see some of the hook ups the book gives you.
the best part of the book is that it isnt written especially for one company, like some others (smc, direct buy) they all want you to buy from them. This book gives you hundreds of ideas and diffrent oppertunities, your not stuck on one basic idea or genre. you have the choice to choose, and do what you want to do.
you asked for me not to put a link but since i talked about it i have to tell you where to find it. its a $1.09 e-book but it was the best book ive ever read.

I think it really depends on what you are trying to do. When I was selling on eBay and Amazon I just purchased some regular books and they helped a lot. eBay strategies was a great one. eBay is kind of dated and I do not think it would work as well as it did several years ago. Amazon is better.
If you are looking to do something else it would help if you are more specific as ebooks can mean so much. I am now doing some other internet marketing that has nothing to do with shopping and the learning curve to me is more challenging. I have read some very informative and free ebooks that are helping me with strategy and prioritization.
