Have you ever run a marathon?

I don't think I would ever run in a marathon. I would like to participate in an event that raises awareness, something like the Komen Foundation.

This isn't my back... - This is an x-ray of someone with Scoliosis
Hahahahahahahahaha... me?... marathon? Yeah right. I'd pass out after 5 minutes:P It's not that I'm against even training myself for something like that (especially if it's to raise awareness or money for something) - it's just that I physically can't. I have the crappiest back in the world, and if I try to run for more than about 5 minutes I literally end up at the chiropractor getting put back together. I'm a miracle girl because I SHOULD be in a wheelchair right now. I have Scoliosis and Spondylothesis - but you would NEVER be able to tell from looking at me. Luckily the worst was caught at an early age so now I just have to "maintain". Really sucks though in combination with weight loss attempts - it severly restricts my exercise abilities.

You don't look as if you need to lose weight. Simple exercises may help to tone muscle.

There is nothing wrong with being pleasingly plump. I am glad that you have succeeded in your goals. Huggers...

I used to weigh 215 pounds... I got sick of it one day and decided to lose it. I've been overweight my entire life (and still am slightly even though you can't tell from my pictures... of course I'm not going to take a pic of myself in a bikini or anything like that!). I'd like to lose about 30 more pounds for health reasons. I'm perfectly happy with myself right now looks-wise... I'm cute and curvy and not a pile of bones. I have a great self-esteem, so please don't take my weight loss comments as a ploy to get compliments! Anything I say about it really is just about my health :)

One of my former coworkers ran a marathon. He didn't come in first, but he said he didn't come in last either.

I think it would be fun and exciting to train and run a marathon. I currently run/jog about 6 miles 4 or 5 times a week. Quite a long ways off from the whole 26 miles but its something that I might consider.
