I think it is really sad that the powers that be cancelled the show LAS VEGAS. I really enjoyed watching it and have started watching it from the beginning again. I'm only about half way through the first season but am really enjoying it. The show stars James Caan as Ed Deline, who is the chief of security at a fictional Las Vegas hotel/recort/casino called the Montecito. The stories follow his and his team's attempts to thwart naughty people's attempts to steal money from the casino by cheating, outright theft, and so on. There is a lot of personal storylines included as well. What really helps the show in my opinion is that all of the women are really good looking [I know, I'm shallow]. My favourite is the casino host Sam, played by the absolutely gorgeous Vanessa Marcil. The show is also filmed in a very stylish fashion, with lots of swoops and whooshes with the camera. LAS VEGAS lasted for 5 seasons, totally 106 fantastic episodes. Buy it on DVD and watch it now! I'd love to hear what other people thing of this sadly-deceased show.

I like to watch Las Vegas. I watched it every Friday night and if i was not going to be home i would tape it. I was shocked when they said it was canceled and would not be coming back the next year. I did like Sam you never knew what she was going to do.

I agree, I wish they had canceled it either. It was one of my favorite shows on television. Plus, they ended it so abruptly, without any warning. I hate when the networks do that. One week you're watching it in the next week it's gone and you're left wondering what happened.

I like that show! But I never watched on a consistant basis, just when I happened to be channel surfing and saw that it was on.
