We were given some free tickets to a Marlin's game. My son is phsyched. My daughter is injured. I have a head cold and a sore back, so it's tempting not to go, but I really would like to see the game and my son says "the seats are comfortable". My daughter sort of wants to go, but her ankle seems to be sprained and she can barely walk. I'm thinking about going out and buying her some crutches. More so that she can go to school tomorrow, but if she wants to go the game, they would be helpful. If not, my sister lives near the stadium and my niece invited her to hang out with them while we go to the game. I THINK we're playing the dodgers. As you may be able to tell, I'm not a HUGE baseball fan. But, I do have some understanding of the sport. My daughter plays softball my son plays baseball. I'm a bigger fan of THEIR teams than I am of the Marlins. I just added baseball, sports and softball to my interests. I didn't even realize they WERE interests until I decided to start a discussion on coaches yesterday, that's how I came across these interests. Do you enjoy getting out to the games, or do you prefer watching them on television? Do you have a favorite baseball team? How much of a die-hard baseball fan are you?

I'm not a fan of baseball or softball. In fact I even don't know the rules to those games. We don't play it here where I live. My favorite sport game is football, or in diffrent name soccer. I love to go to games, and watch it live in the field. I love to sing with the crowd, and the mood is amazing!

Soccer is an exciting sport. I don't watch it often, but I can understand why you are a fan.

Oh, yes I am a big fan of baseball and football. I have been to several pro games over the years and wish I could afford to go to more of them. I follow the Houston Astros and the Houston Texans. I watch every game on tv. My wallpaper on my computer is of Craig Biggio who has now retired from baseball and is now coaching his two sons high school team. Around Houston I would imagine a kid going to that school would be thrilled to have one of the game's greatest players coaching the team. Right now I wish the Astros would get their act together -- not much run production and pitching problems abound. But we are a second half team so (hopefully) after the All-star break we will catch on fire and get into the playoffs in Sept.

I think except for once, I've only gone to the games when someone has given us tickets. The one time we did pay, it was a group rate. The park where my children play baseball/softball did a thing where the kids went out and got to run around the field before the game.

Hope you enjoy. When my kids were in grammar school they were in the Coca cola Astros buddies club. We got to go to certain games on the weekend and often they got to go onto the field or have a clinic with one or more of the players and get pictures and autographs. They really enjoyed all that.

Sounds cool, I wanted to go also but ticketmaster charges too much tax for me. The game should be fun though if you are a fan.

I don't even know how much the tickets are. I know the FOOD prices are outrageous! It was a nice time, even though we lost.
