Guide me to set the blog archives.

I just completed (partially)my blog and I found the archives in my blog is at the bottom of the blog. I want to keep that on the side of the blog. Where to make the setting for that? I tried many times to find out that and not able to do that. Please guide me in this.

First of all please mention the blogging service you are currently using. If it is blogger, the things are really easy.
When ever you login into the blogger account, you can find an option 'Page Layout'. If you go to that page, you can view the whole layout of your blogger page including template info as well as the posts. Now you can arrange the different tabs and accessories by simply dragging and then dropping them in the desired position.
If you want your blog archive to be placed in the side bar, just drag the 'Blog Archive' tab and drop it in the side bar. That's all.
