can the churches unite?

what has been the roman catholic church's relationship to the ecumenical movement? can it really seek unity with other churches without placing itself on the horns of a dilemma? any thoughts on this, please reply?

You are probably not going to like this, but in my opinin, what is the difference of any religion to a business. So in that, why not use the merging affect to increase the earnings they make. Religion to me is a business, Faith is what you hold within you, your heart, your soul and your mind. We are each a church with Faith if we choose to be.
