Will Datschuk ever play with Zetterberg again?

What happened? I used to just know if I saw #40 on the ice I would see #13. I still call them the kids , the nickname Hull gave them. but I have noticed that Zetterberg is playing with Hossa. What happened? is it because Pavel is in a scoring rut?

Datsyuk has been linemates with Hossa for most of the season. Babcock wanted to spread out the centers and since they are both natural centers, it made sense to break them apart. They did reunite in a game or two against the Ducks and a few times on power plays. The reunion actually sparked a fantastic game for Franzen and Hossa, who was added to Franzen's line in place of Hank. I'm anxiously awaiting the game where Datsyuk will break out of his slump. His last goal was Game 2 against Columbus (over a month ago!) and has 6 points overall. You just know that when he starts to get going, he'll rack up a lot of points in a hurry.

I am screaming Go Pavel , you can do it!Give it to 13! I was hoping he could score at home but it wasn't to be. Maybe Chicago is the place.thanks for yur response. I saw less of the wings this season that's why I was shocked to see Pavel without Zetterberg.

I didn't get to see to many games during the regular season, either. The pairing seemed to do pretty well based on the stats...Pavel had 97 points, Hossa had 71. Zetterberg had 73 points on a different line. I'll be happy to see him score just an empty net goal. Anything to get him off of the goalless streak he's on. He's still playing hard on the offensive and defensive end, so a goal should come sooner or later. Can't really complain when he's constantly taking pucks away from the other team. :)

I only got to see part of the game today...I had the house to myself for about 40 minutes and saw most of the second period....and then everyone came home again... and good bye tv for me!!! I didnt get to notice who played with who today since I was trying to clean and watch the game at the same time....but sometimes Babcock (or coaches alike) like to switch it up and keep it interesting.... the next game you may see them together, you never know what they have up there sleeve!!!! happy mylotting!!! and **lets go red wings**
