"He roared with laughter"

Have you ever read something, and someone was described to be "Roaring with laughter"? What do you imagine that to look like? The picture I get in my mind makes me laugh, lol. Do you know anyone, or do you "roar" when you laugh really hard?

When I think of roaring with laughter, I think of two people who have the best laughs, Burt Reynolds and Diane Cannon.If you want to see a person roar with laughter, see Smokey and The Bandit.And I once saw Johnny Carson laugh so hard he turned his chair around and got up from his chair.Robin Williams told a joke and Johnny just roared.

nope! never seen anyone roar with laughter... but I once saw someone try to hold back a laugh and blew a snot bubble! it was cool!
