I have 2 aquarium and a glass jar. In the first aquarium I have a pelco, 2 black skirt tetra and a snail, in the second aquarium I have a chiclid and in the glass jar I have 3 molly fries(babies).I am going home on wednesday evening and would not be back till monday morning. How do I leave them, how do I feed them?I know that there is a weekend food available but I am not sure about it as I have never used it! What do I do? and is there any other way out?

Because you will be gone for so many days I think the best option would be to have a friend look after them. Either have your friend stop by the house to check on them or take them to your friends house. That way you are assured they will be getting fed and have clean water. Enjoy your trip home! I hope you figure out something for your fish!

I am not so sure about a friend taking care of them but I think I will do this....Do you think I can leave them hungry for 4 days?

For the cichlids and the other tank that you have they should be fine without being fed for that long. Most people tend to overfeed their fish anyway. Apparently they can go for weeks without being fed. Many fish will also eat existing algae in your tank. I wouldn't worry about it too much. If you are really concerned you can buy an automatic fish feeder. I have never used one, but have seen them in stores. I am not sure about the fry however as I don't have any experience with them.

thanks breezie i had kept the cichlid hungry earlier but that was only for kind of 2 days. Since this was a longer weekend i was a little worried. Thanks so much. Will figure out something for the fries.
