do you honestly give your tithes base on your montly income?

we all knew that we are obliques to give or share in our church the ten percent of our income monthly and its really in the Bible. honestly before i didnt do that, i will just share an amount that i want to share, though its not really the ten percent. bur not, ive realized that God gives all the blessings , the talents and graces, then i will not give small amount he asked? really bad, and its really nice the feeling that we do obey and commands of God.
what about you? do you still care about it?

I pay tithes based on what I get from my pension. I do not include the bank interest, because often times the extra things that go on at church, offerings and that, will take 10 percent of that. We are supposed to give part of what we get from God. Now some say, that we will be able to live on that 90 percent, but I find when one gives tithes, even though one spends on the same stuff, one's income does grow. I do not believe in the name it and claim it, but I found before I tithed, nothing came in, but when I tithed, that left over did more then what the whole amount did before tithing.
I think it is to do with God blessing us. HE can make things happen that we never expect.

I never understood it myself. And it is not as if I decided to make a budget after I tithed, and said that now I will not spend as much on candy, because while I do not spend as much on candy, it is transferred to other treats. It is just that now because I tithe that God is able to release more opportunities to me, then before.

exactly,. its really true, and it really happens to me also, before i tithes but not really the 10% of my income, i will just give the amount that i want to share, and its true my income is always out of budget, always short. and i keep on questioning why its like this, just now i realized , it is because i didnt honestly share the amount which is for HIM. more blessings to come really in our way if we honestly give our tithes. its proven.

i dont think we are oblige to give 10%.for me,there is no certain amount.as long as it comes from ur heart and that no one forced you to give the amount in your church that is very acceptable to god.if you have bounty of blessings then share or donate big amount but if you have less, any amount will do as long as you never forget to share.donating an amount in our church varies sometimes of the availabilty of the money that have.:) good day!

Hi carrine,
I am not doing it...I only give small amount to church but I am not that active this time here, just very different in our COuntry. ANyway, I tried to extend help to other people in my own simple way if I have some extra after taking care of my family!

yes just recently only.. because my family joined to other community like born again christian. and we do learned a lot from the Bible that we didnt know before.

Yes, it is so important. To build more temples, churches and missionary work and church supplies. If you pay your tithes and the Lord open the window of Heaven to you. Me I'm blessed with young face, talents and food in our table. It is true in Bible Malachi 3:8-12. And this practice since Abraham the Father of many nations pay tithes to High Priest King Melchizedek of Salem. And it is written in Hebrews.
