It's all a bit angular, Luntian, and you have metered for the highlights, leaving the eyes - so important for a portrait- lost in the shadows of the hat. There isn't much of a connection between the subject and the viewer: I know brothers don't always take direction well, but YOU are the photographer, so you need to take control. Using a small aperture has rendered the background too sharp: it is distracting, but you could soften it and perhaps dd some blur in PaintShopPro or Photoshop. javascript:__doPostBack('ctl00$cphMainContent$lbStart','')

To me, the first thing that I should be noticing is the face, but the arm is what really pops first. Also, I don't know if you wanted to partially cover the face with the grass, but it is, not that it looks bad or anything. I like it. The only issue I really have is the arm is too prevalent in my opinion. (I am by no means a professional photographer either, I just really love photography.) --C

There's no picture in here ^_^ Maybe u can try uploading it again, in order for other members to comment on it ^_^ It seems like u are really aspiring to be a professional photographer huh?? lol =D BUt anyway, it's always good to be living along with your goal and dreams in life.. Since photography is your interest, u should always put in more effort in it, and show others all the beautiful pictures u have taken ^_^
