Music to Calm the Savage Soul

Hmm, songs that illicit that kind of response from me would only be those songs that are background music to such a good heart wrenching scene. Though the song from N*SYNC "This I Promise You" always tugs at my heart strings. I really dont know why but the music, the melody and especially the lyrics of the song just brings about hope in me I guess. I havent heard a song that has moved me to tears though. Then again, the silent animal movie 'Benjie' never fails to make me cry. I actually havent finished the whole movie yet cause Id cry during the first 15 minutes of the show. The music in the movie just emphasizes the emotions and thoughts going through the animal characters. And Im such a sap for animals and music

Evidently, as a litle girl, I frequently sung "You are my Sunshine". I sang this song to my own four children as well as their specvial baby songs. My son and his wife had twins nearly 3 years ago in the U.K. They came out for a visit when they twins were six months and I then heard my DIL singing the same song! I could not believe it! When the twins were two they came to live with me whilst their mother is working in Dubai. So up tp last night, when I put them to bed I sing their favourite song 'Yuu are my sunshine". Blessings
