I come across this website, startsampling.com, in an article. Anyone has tried getting free stuff from this website? What is the kind of free stuff that you get from here? Too bad they accept only US residents. I hope they can offer something online and open to international audience.

I haven't heard of them either. The best site to get samples is Walmart. They have new ones all the time and send them out very quickly. Thanks for the website, I am going to check out startsampling.com.

Walmart has never directed me to startsampling~ weird. I will join. I did get on and noticed that they have many free samples listed that I have just received from other sites. Guess if they give points and such it will be worth joining.

Hi Sunshine, actually when you get samples from Walmart, it will re-direct you to startsampling.com. Ultimately, startsampling is the centralised site to get free samples. In this case, I would suggest that you join startsampling.com, since this site has some other rewards, like monthly contests, and rewards points.

I didn't know Walmart had samples on the web; I get emails from them all the time but I have never seen mention of samples.

Back when I was still living in the states I used start sampling and good results. My favorite site was twisted branches. They have a great site and lots of free samples. Wish they would ship to Mexico where I live!

Hi playapal, at least you benefit from the free samples. Maybe you can start something like this in Mexico. Correct me if I'm wrong, I have the idea that Mexico is an agricultural country. So you can start free samples for bananas, apples and other products. By the time you send out the free samples, they will enjoy dried bananas, dried apples and dried whatever.

I have been on that site for several years. They don't offer too much different items then you find on other sites. They did have a points system you'd earn for visiting their site but the "prizes" were always sold out or way out there in points.

haha, freesamplings is not that "free" after all! I think they want people to provide useful feedbacks, rather than just taking the free samples, and visiting the sponsors' websites. Hope you can accumulate enough points to redeem whatever you want. Anyway, you will be glad to know that there is no such website in Singapore, to provide consolidated free samples for us. The manufacturers will give the free samples to the retailers, and retailers will not give us, unless we buy something from them, then they will throw a few samples into the plastic carrier.

Nope Scheng!!! I don't have idea about it. Yeah its a boring thing for us that most of the programs are available for US residents only. Hope we get something nice in the future...

Hi Nzal, I can understand the logistics problem of sending a bottle of soft drink to Nepal just for you to taste! I can't understand why they cannot offer online products sample or let people around the world print out the coupon to try products selling round the world. Agree that those in the US are fortunate to have so many free stuff available to them.

Hi Canellita, this site been around for a long time. Even those samples from walmart.com are administered by startsampling.com Fortunately you are living in the US, you can get a lot of free samples, then feedback to startstampling.com, and earn rewards points, which you can exchange for some other goodies. Too bad there's no such site in Singapore, else I will get hold of every cat food, dog food, facial product, kraft food, magazines etc every month.

Are there any programs like this that are available to you in Singapore?

Very interesting. I have stopped filling out for free sample offers because there are so many sites where the registration is lenghty and you have to go through all these other offers and it became a time consuming headache just to get a free little sample of a product I may or may not like.

Hi Monkeysue, you are very fortunate to live in the States. We dont even have that in the country. I think the startsampling is getting bigger, and a lot of companies are using them. Do you give feedback and receive the reward points to exchange for other products?
