My mom and I used to travel a lot. (She's now deceased). We've learned so much about other lives by visiting other countries. We've been to Canada, Mexico, Iceland, Tahiti, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Brazil, Venezuela, Aruba, St. Maarten, the Bahamas, Spain (and the Canary Islands...) There were so many other we'd love to visit. My husband and I are traveling around the US now. What countries have all of you been to? Isn't life great when there's travel in it!!!

I very strongly believe that you learn a lot by traveling! You can learn so much about other cultures. I think people would be surprised at how much they might love a different culture if they gave it a chance! My first international travel experience was to the Bahamas. It was a lot of fun. I was amazed at how different it was from the US! I knew then that I wanted to do more travel! Since then, I lived in Italy for 3 months. I was able to do a lot of travelling from there. I went to Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Czech Republic, and Liechtenstein during that time. It was simply amazing! I wish I had the chance to go back for another extended stay! So far, I have only been back to Europe for one or 2 weeks at a time. I have added the Netherlands and Belgium to my list of countries visited. This summer, my husband and I will be making our first trip to Canada. I cant wait! We are also planning another trip back to Europe for next year. We will be repeating some of the countries I have been to, but some of it will be new to him. I think the only new country for me will be Iceland. Life is definitely much better with travel! We give up a lot of the little everyday things so that we can travel instead. It is totally worth it!

WOW you've been to lots of places!! You'll love Iceland...we were only there for a weekend, but I'd love to spend at least a week there. Enjoy Canada too! We've been to British Columbia and Ontario. I feel there's nothing like getting on a plane and getting off somewhere far away that you've never been before.LOL

I cant get enough traveling! I have heard some amazing things about Iceland. We will probably only be there for two or three days. If you fly Iceland Air, you can get an extended layover there. That is what we plan to do! We are actually driving to Canada. We are going to Niagara Falls and will be exploring a little bit of Canada as well. It shouldnt take us more than 6 or 7 hours to drive there, which isnt too bad. And it will be nice to have our own car to drive around in! There are so many more places in Canada that I want to go too!
