In his speach at the Notre Dame commencement, Prs. Obama encouraged the graduates to "join hands in a common effort" with people on the opposite sides of issues from themselves.
I wonder where all that spirit of "joining hands" goes when it comes to legislation and policy. Where is the spirit of "joining hands" when Obama is forcing his issues down America's throat with the help of the rest of The Central Committee (Pelosi and Reid)?
When he slammed the people attending the "Tea Parties"... Was that his example of "joining hands"? Or is that just for others and not for the great annointed one?

Believe me when I say the great annointed one, is not like the plain, every day people that we are, he is so high above us that he don't even like us. I personally can't stand the man and I did try to give him time to see what he could do for us and as the unemployment rate continues to rise in our area I see that he isn't doing much at all. You couldnt get him to stand amoung the common people because he believes he is so much better than them. Sorry I did not see Bush come across with that type of attitude. His ideas that he is pushing down our throats dont' include him and his family. Unless it is abortion, if his girls lay with someone and get pregnant then he will see they get an abortion cause he wouldn't want them saddled with a kid, that is the only thing that I have seen that he is willing to stand with the common people.

When it comes to a question of believing in killing or not killing I do not think you are going to get people to hold hands and find common ground. I think that when it comes to first trimester abortion most people will say it is up to the women maybe into the second trimester. But when it comes to partial birth 9th month abortion, where the live baby is being born, and its head is bashed in as it is alive and breathing and being born, I just don't think you are ever going to find any compromise with pro-lifers. Sorry big "O" thats just the way it is.
When you ridicule thinking intelligent people who are asking why you are doing something and asking you to stop doing something, which is their right. They will take exception to being ridiculed and called fools and someday you may be very sorry for what you have said and done. Even Poor People have long memories. And you can suppress them only so long.
