At what age was your first crush? Did you by chance stay with that person?

Some people meet as chidren and stay together a lifetime. Rare, but it does happen. How old were you when you got your first crush? How did you express it? Did he or she like you in return? Are you by chance still with this person?
I was in the 5th grade, and a boy named Billy and I ate lunch together and one time, shared a quick kiss behind a shade at one of the school windows. Exciting but innocent stuff for a ten-year-old. The crush lasted about a month is all, but for that month we shared silly little "I love you notes" and things like that.

I had my first crush on a guy when I was around 7 or 8 years old. I can't really remember the exact age. We were in the same class at school and I can remember just really enjoying being around him. I never told him or even gave him any hints, I was too shy! Anyway I don't think he felt the same way about me.

It seems most of us had our first crushes at an early age. I was shy, too, and it was always hard to say: I like you.
So I can understand your hesitance.

My first crush was in preschool. Yep, preschool. I have always been interested in guys, apparently! LOL! Anyway, there was this kid Peter who was in my preschool class and I always used to say he was my boyfriend and that we'd get married. Our families became close friends and even though we moved to different parts of the country, we kept in touch. I had his picture on my dresser until I was in the 7th grade. Well, we ended up leading totally different lives and not having much in common at all. We still keep in touch as friends, as do our parents, but we never would have been compatible mates. I had several crushes and relationships after Peter and then I finally found my wonderful husband and he is a perfect match. :-)

You heartbreaker you : )) And at such a young age! I think it is wonderful that you and your first crush have remainded friends, and even more wonderful that you are with your husband and happy.

I had my first crush when I was 9 years old. He didn't like me in return. It is a one way crush thing. lol.
