I'm reading "Why Does He Do That" by Lundy Bancroft right now. It's about abusive men and it's really good. The last book I read was "Happiness Sold Seperately" by Lolly Winston. It was also good.

I've just started reading the novel Fried Green Tomatoes. I've seen the movie a number of times but have never read the book until now. I've also just finished reading a book called Beauty Is Therapy, which consists of the recollections of a groundskeeper working for a mental hospital in Traverse City Michigan. I would highly recommend both of these books.

the kite runner by khaled husseini (i think that's his name). its about a boy growing up in afghanistan and then moving to the US as an adult...and his relationships in both places, especially with a boy who was a servant in his household in afghanistan.

Zen in the art of archery, just a book about someone being trained to be a zen archery master. the book helped me learn how to draw a long bow the proper way. it also gets pretty deep in zen buddism.
