Oh dear! Well I don't hate it... but you of all people should not have been surprised that it was hard to focus: what camera are you using, now? Did you get your SLR?

i still don't have the dslr david... T_T and it's very hard to use a point and shoot camera for it has AF... i do want to do manual but i can't... yes it was hard to have a focus this time because the disco lights was moving and i was in the dark... so you know it's hard to do focus with the subject... any other trick for p&s in doing a disco shot? hey thanks for the comments that you gave...

Maybe being out of focus isn't a bad thing; it makes an interesting abstract pattern. To trick an autofocus camera into focusing where you want, find something about the same distance away as what you want to photograph, focus on that by pressing the shutter in half way, then, without releasing the button, frame the picture you want. Now finish pressing the shutter release.

I often really like photos of lights that are intentionally out of focus... You that really cool bokeh look! I love it! You can get such pretty photos! And I really like that photo you shared! Very nice!

Well, that photo looks quite blurred to me.. Though i can make out the lights, but i dun feel comfortable looking at it.. I'm not saying your photography skills are not good, but it's just that this kind of photos does not really appeal to me that much ^_^ It's always good to be taking photos of many other things, and from there, u will be able to know where your strong point lies in, in which kind of theme ^_^

well i have other photos of lights that is not blurred but then again i want to know your opinion about this one... i was hard to focus with this one... specially if your in the dark and the disco lights is moving... guess it's hard to use a point and shoot camera in a very low light... i am still saving for the dslr though... i hope i will have it...

Honestly, it is not my favorite photo. It is much like abstract art, and I am not a fan. I dont know what I am supposed to be looking at. It almost hurts my eyes because the colors are so bright against the black background. But if you are happy with it, that is all that matters! I have taken picture in my life that no one else likes, but I love them. In my mind, that makes them a success!

it is some king of abstract one... i was hooping but true to what you have said it's too bright for the back ground... but hey like what i'v said i was in a disco place at this time so i can't adjust the light... i don't like to use a flash this time because it will attract people's attention. but then again it's not an excuse... well for me other people's opinion maters because they can say something to a picture with out the bias. and it's art, i want to know if it has a communication with the view... well in this case that would be you guys...^_^ i am very happy that you guys have time to sit with me and say something about the wok that i did.
