How Do You Handle "Difficult" People?

I find that it is very hard to do many days I get on the phone scheduling reservations and people are so ignorant and rude they hang up because they are pissed off at me because of a policy they don't agree with and I can't change so I know how difficult it can be. I just have to continually remind myself that it is not me personally and when I get off the phone I try to release any stress I may have build up from the day by either reading, exercising, or working on my ceramics which is a great stress reliever for me.

I really hate difficult people I just don't handle them, I simply ignor them.
