I am in the process of searching for a health insurance policy to cover me, my husband, and our daughter. I need any really important tips or advice anyone with more experience has to offer. We have been going through a lot of trial and error experiences that come along with "growing up," so it would be great to have some advice. We are purchasing an individual policy, since our employer doesn't offer it.

What country are you in??? If youre in N. america check out blue cross/blue shield.. They have great coverage and the premiums are decent as well. Theres also Aetna, but im not sure if anyone can pick them up. My parents have Aetna through my stepfathers work and my mom LOVES it. They are great... My sister has BC/BS and she LOVES them...I think it comes down to what you are comfortable with for your premiums and what all your policy will cover. Make sure that it covers most of your routine exams. etc. Good luck policy hunting. Let me know what you choose.

So sorry, Thejeangrey. I can not give tips or advice to you, because we are different countries. Insurance companies in my country may apply a different policy.
