At last I found one "Task" and I tried to do that yesterday. Well, the task was to place an Ad on Craiglist. I read the whole detail with interest. Following the instructions prescribed in the details, I at last managed to fill up the form till I reached the end of the Task. I was prompted that the ad had already been submitted by somebody else. Will some of my myLot friends advise me on this?
The whole process of reading and filling up the form took me about fifteen minutes and I feel it is a bit unfair to a person doing so to be deprived of the opportunity at the end of the Task. In my opinion if it is done like this, it is not a Task, it is a sort of lottery. I also feel that some of my myLot friends may have met with the same fate. Am I right or wrong?

I tried a task that involved posting on Craigslist also and had the same problem. It took me a little while to complete as I am not too familiar with craigslist and when I was done the same thing happened and it would not let me post. It was very frustrating to spend the time doing the task and not to be able to complete it. I don't really know that there is much that can be done about it, but I know that I try to avoid that type of task since my experience. I have had pretty good luck with the 4 paragraph tasks. 2 out of the 3 I have submitted have been approved, maybe you could try one of those next time they are available.

Thanks for your response. So my apprehension has proved to be true that I am not the only one who has met with the fate of not being able to post his task after going through all that hassle. It is nice that myLot has provided a forum to discuss and share such problems. Thanks for also advising me about other tasks. Next time I will try to find one.

I agree, stahir, it is more like a lottery. I personally have not attempted any tasks as of yet. I'd love to do them, but I don't want to waste time and energy and be let down. In my opinion, the task section is a great and wonderful idea. I love the concept. But seeing that some myLotters do well with them and others such as yourself have had problems, there's too much hit and miss. It hopefully is a learning curve that will improve in time. I really like what owlwings had to say about it, don't you?

Yes, I think you're right, stahir. All we have to do is wait and see. myLot is a great site, I believe that any problems will be taken care of in time. Hang in there.
