When I first came to New Brunswick Canada it was to visit family but I stayed because of the beauty here.
I love to fish and the fishing here is awesome. Give fly fishing for Atlantic salmon or a few smallmouth bass a try and you may just get hooked on New Brunswick as well. But that's just the fishing, there is so much more.
We take our son to Fundy Park a lot for the trails but the big attraction are the flower Pots, as they are called and just how high the tide gets here. It's the highest tides in the world so you don't want to be down there when the tide turns as it can move much faster than most humans can.
I came down here for the first time during the winter, I took a train and I am so glad I did, because I got to see all those churches and winter country side shots that take your breath away on Christmas cards. Even at night the scenery is breath taking.
Never been to New Brunswick, well do a few searches for tourism New Brunswick and see what you are missing.
Where do you live and is it worth a visit and why?

Its really nice to know that you visited that beautiful place. I really haven't visited out of my country till now, I really want to visit, Switzerland, and Egypt first of all.
By the way, am from India. As you asked what we have here to visit, let me tell you something to improve your knowledge, that the world famous and among the 7 wonders of the world, "Taj Mahal" the historic monument of love, is in our country. It is said that once you visit that place, you'll visit their for the second time for sure.
Other then that our country have lots and lots of places to visit. The highest mountain peak of the world, "Mount Everest" is in out country only, so if you are fond of Mountain trekking you should visit here.
Different kind of culture and their trade, can be seen here only. Our country is full of historic beautiful monuments. High green Mountains, to flower valley, snow mountain to backwater villages, desert to high platue. You can find all here.

I would love to visit those places to but I know my wife would like to visit them even more.
India is dear to my heart because when I was in my early 20s an Indian brother and sister were my room mates and best friends when I was living in Toronto.
They shared Indian cooking with me and the experience has changed my life and those around me for the past 25 years or more.
When Jenny, my wife, first met me she couldn't eat my cooking. Then she got to the point she would eat it but she would make sure nothing touched her lips. It was so funny to watch. Now she and our son eat it like they should.
India has such a variety of people.
My friends moved from Canada to the United States and I didn't see them for many years, but in 1999 we got down there to visit. I shed a lot of tears on that trip.
Now the Taj Mahal is definitely one of the places I would visit. But I would just look at Mount Everest, I don't have the health or strength to walk up hills, let alone a mountain.
You country and people are ancient meaning you have a great history behind you, unlike North America does. We have a short history because we all came from other countries.
Thanks for the great response Navonly

There are many attractions in Newfoundland. If you go to the West Coast, see Gros Morne and in the North, you can visit Lans aux meadows. IN St. John's, the capitol city, there are many museums and walking trails and activities to take part in. In the summer there are many festivals like the George Street Festival, The Regatta, the Fold Festival and many others!

Landlocked Ontario, never heard it put that way. :)
Yes you do have lots of lakes. I lived in Ontario for the first half of my life. I am now 56 and love it here in New Brunswick but I have many great memories of fishing in some of those lakes.
We, my wife, myself and our son have visited PEI as well and love it there. We went out on a little cruise to do some whale watching and fishing.
I haven't been very far into Nova Scotia other than to do some computer training in Halifax.
I do love fishing and it was in Ontario, as a sad little orphan, that my life changed for the better due to a foster brother who took me fishing and let me be a little boy again. So I will always have fond memories of Ontario. That was before I found my relatives here in New Brunswick.
