Hello everyone.. Sad to say it but yeah I have to admit that I'm a lazy person. I go to bed late and I get up also late. I've been doing it for many years and sometimes it causes trouble.. Once or twice a month I come late to work and most of the time I don't feel fresh. It's stressing actually and of course I tried to change but it seems so hard for me. Once I used to make some plans. Setting up the alarm clock, asking someone to wake me up early, go on a diet, do exercise but I always end up in the same problem. My laziness is the problem. My plans remain plans and the troubles are always there waiting.. Ugh I hate it but don't know how to overcome it.. If you ever had similar problem in the past.. please let me know.. I thank you very much indeed in advance, guys.

I knew a collegue who would be late to work most of the time, I would question him and he would always say just woke up. But one thing, since he was working in an architectural office he used to work till late hence kind of compensating for the starting of the day, he would finish his work and leave. If plans seem not working for you Its best that you too try to do the same and see keep most of your work ready the previous night for the next day, even for that matter ironing your clothes, etc Hope this helps a little but yes its not a complete solution.

I think that the reason that you can't get out of the bed early is simply because you don't truly wish to. You know how they say that people can only quit smoking when they decide they want to? Well I think it's the same with you. When you decide that you are tired of getting up late you should begin to really do something about it. I would research online different things you can do to help, and if not, then maybe you shouldn't change it. Maybe you should adapt and get a night job...maybe something like a seven to seven shift might work for you. Hope this info is helpful to you. Good luck!

Well it really is a good idea. Finding a night shift job can be the best solution but what kind of job is it? He.. he.. he.. I should search for it because the only night shift job that I know is security guard and I am not rally good at it. Anyway thanks for commenting, buddy!

Hello candramawa!!! Yes, I have the similar problem. Like you I am also trying my best to overcome this laziness. In the day time, I don't feel like to do anything. I feel so lazy and tired the whole day. I know this is only due to the habit. In the classroom too, when the teacher is teaching, I start yawing on and on with my mouth closed and my eyes become wet all the time. This really drifts away my concentrations. I try so hard to concentrate on what teacher is saying, but mostly I end up tired, just fighting to keep myself fresh and get rid of sleepiness.... one suggestion that is best to follow to remove the laziness is make determination strong. Don't take the way the mind is telling us. It is always trying to seek for comfort, comfort and comfort. It will ruin us if we just go on listening to it. When you have anything to do, don't keep on thinking. Take the step without giving the mind to think about doing it later. Just take the steps immediately. This is the major thing I am doing to remove my habit of laziness. Like you I also used to sleep a bit late. But now I have improved a lot. Last semester I always used to be late in the class. But this semester I am not late. I am mostly on time or before the teacher comes in. In the morning too, the same thing to do. i.e not let our mind say, let me sleep for a minute more. Just straight wake up, then your mind will loose straight away... Good luck...Don't mind for the tip from the guy who is oneself suffering from the laziness hehe... Happy mylotting...

Good for you, my dear friend. I'm glad that you have found your way to overcome the problem. Yes, I think you are right. Mind over matter. That's the key. Once I tried that method actually and it worked. Even so, I didn't do it regularly because sometimes I did not have any plans to do in the morning. So, it gives me another problem. Anyway, thanks for the advice. All the best! Cheers!

I realized that I am not alone. Well, we are not alone, buddy. I also think that I often postpone some of the important tasks I have. And guess what... I also do some of the tasks during the last minutes of the deadline... Gee, it hurts but that's me. I really believe that it is just a matter of strong will. If we are strong willed, I guess there is something we can do to get rid of this tiny little problem. Anyway, keep going with the effort and I wish you luck, my friend.

I am struggling with same problem.I do have lot of stress in my life.I have set very high goals in life and it has made my life very difficult. But last few months i ahve change few things and now a days i am feeling lot better. There can be few reason for your situation. If you keep thinking about one thing ,i mean to say some sort of tension then it produce lot of stress and brain feel sleepy. Another cause might be your HB.Check your hemoglobin. That might have gone down.Increase iron in your diet.EAt beat root daily.

That really is a good idea. I think I'll give it a try. Checking HB is not really that hard. However, beet root is not that easy to find here in Indonesia. Anyway, thanks indeed a million for the suggestions. Happy myLotting.
