To some of you all these is the answer to everything it is Bush/Cheney's fault. Love them or hate them they are not responsible for every thing. I cannot hit a golf ball without slicing, it is Bush/Cheney's fault I cannot get my car to start, it is Bush/Cheney's fault My girlfriend/boyfriend just left me it is Bush/Cheney's fault This is my views on why it is always Bush/Cheney's fault, to many who vote a certain way self-responsibility is not encouraged. So there always has to be a fall guy for everything. For the most part it is their evil boss, but with Bush/Cheney we have to individuals that can be labeled the fall guy for everything that your boss cannot.

Well let's see it is Bush/Cheney's fault that there have been no terrorists attacks on U.S. soil since 9/11. It is their fault that the economy didn't collapse within a couple months after 9/11. Etc. Etc. It is mostly the liberal, socialist idea that everyone should be able to own a home even when they can't afford one that led to the subprime mortgage problem which is what created the recession.

Considering that 0bozo is now adopting the very Bush policies that he campaigned against... thus providing further evidence that Bush was right and the moonbat liberals were wrong all along... I would say that Bush and Cheney ceased being responsible as soon as 0bozo took the oath of office. The democrats have complete control of DC... so no matter what happens, the credit or blame is theirs alone.

Whether Bush and Cheney was right or wrong, they cannot be blamed for everything.

it is hard to point out fingers. with all the problems with the economy and terrorism. i think that we should not figure it out who is more to blame. i think all of us can do our share to help the world to be back from its place before. where there is more security and there is abundance and prosperity.

Gew, it took about five years before republicans stopped blaming Clinton for everything, so I would have to say five years sounds good to me. I have never blamed Bush/Cheney for anything that has happened in my personal life, but they effected the country like no other combo have in our nations history. They left the country in the worse finacial standing in 30 years, they walked away from two wars, the largest deficit in our nations history, and the largest national debt in our history. It will take the country years to fix everything that those two did, and they are fully to blame. Remember when Bush took over, Clinton was blamed for everything, and anything that happened (funny how they never blamed the republican led congress, yet republicans blamed congress for everything that has happened in Bush's last two years).

So I guess you will start writing discussion about how Obama has run up the largest deficits in his first 100 day, 2 trillion dollars. I do not believe Bush/Cheney did that. It is amazing that you never like to speak about that. If deficits are bad, which they are then what Obama is doing is criminal. Under the Bush admin 75 cent of every dollar was funded, under Obama 50 cents of every dollar is funded. Let me guess you well some how blame that on Bush. You speak about Clinton's economy a lot and how bad Bush's economy was, well history says under Obama America will have a worse economy than Bush. Under Clinton federal spending never once topped 2 trillion dollars , his biggest budget was the 2000 fiscal budget of 1.9 trillion. Under Bush the largest budget was the 2008 fiscal budget of 3.1 trillion. Obama's 09 fiscal budget is 3.7 trillion.

Gew, the year isn't even half way over, and the economy is showing signs of getting better. If the economy starts to grow, then the deficit/debt will go down. If the banks pay back the TARP program there you will have about 700 billion to 1 trillion. So now you are down to 1.3 to 1 trillion dollars. All of the sudden his deficit is lower than Bush's, so there you go. Deficits are bad (unless you listented to D!ck Cheney who said that deficits are good, that is because they needed spend money to win an election) but sending the country into a depression is much worse, and it looks like Obama has adverted this. Under Clinton every dime was funded because of a great program called PayGo, but Bush didn't like this idea of funding spending programs/tax cuts, with bennifit/tax increases. So Bush just got rid of it, and our national debt went through the roof (and YES, that is Bush's fault). The reason that Obama's number is so high is because he has to save the country from the "Trickle Down" economic policy of George W. Bush that created the worse economy in 30 years. What you don't know about the historic trends is that they don't always prove to be accurate when it comes to the economy. Economic forcast are rarely correct, and these same experts that say that Obama's plan will fail are the same that said that Clinton's tax increase in 2003 would destroy our economy, and send it into a depression. They couldn't be more wrong, during the Clinton era our economy experiened the longest growth period in our national history. To use your numbers Gew, if the banks pay back the TARP program, like many want to, then his budget would be less than Bush's. But, I don't like to get into projections.

The Bush/Cheney excuse will be used for years to come. Liberals will be printing history books defending Obama with the Bush/Cheney excuse.

Many of the problems that became very big during Bush's tenure actually started during Clinton's era, like free trade which caused most of the manufacturing in the country to fail. I didn't particularly like Bush when he was in office, but the media blamed him for everything even when it was the fault of the Democrats who got the majority in the house and senate when Bush was still in office. And many Americans seem to be only puppets of the media, and don't know how to think for themselves. And Obama's "change" includes a lot of the same "solutions" Bush had.

I think it will always be PARTLY their fault... but it is all of their faults. Their being the total law, policy, and government types. They are collectively involved and to blame. That includes Obama. But no one person or branch can be blamed... unless you have a bone to pick with them.
