When someone craks a joke on your Best friend should you laugh or slap that guy.

When i and my best friend were having coffee,a person whom we both knew came and was cracking jokes on my friend to impress me .I never enjoyed the jokes and wanted to kick that guy but seeing my friend herself taking it easy i didn't feel right to ask him to get out but instead left that place by telling that i have some work. When i called my friend and told her i expected her to slap that guy for offending her she told that learn to bear and enjoy the joke instead of getting offended .Is she right ,should we accept anything some stupid says and pretend to enjoy it.

if its funny then laugh if its not then tell the perswon telling jokes that they arent funny and they need to grow up if thats what needs saying!! It also depends onthe perso if they know the person they vare telling jokes about funny then its okay, if they dont then they have no right. =D

I will do the same as you. I won't slap him but tell him that that particular person is my best friend and he's being rude. There's no point on slapping him. I will walk off. My best friends are not jokes of others. If she said I should bear it, I'll ask what will she do if she's me and I am being made fun of others. If she laugh along, we better not being best friend.
