How long did it take you to get pregnant?
My first pregnancy was after almost a year of trying. It was ectopic, unfortunately. But, four months later, I was pregnant with my son who's now 19 months old. It took 11 months after his birth before I was pregnant again. Unfortunately, we lost that baby but we are trying again now. Overall, the whole fertility, getting pregnant with a healthy baby thing has been more complicated than we expected, but worth every bit of it for our wonderful son. We know that the next baby will come along when the time is right.

I hope that you will get pregnant again soon and that will give your 11 month old son a baby brother or sister. I am so sorry to hear that you had an ectopic and then you lost another baby. I know that when trying to get pregnant it helps to be happy and relaxed. I got pregnant without trying to and now have two lovely sons. My older one is 14 years old and my younger one is 2 years old. I am pregnant with my dear little baby girl and she is due next month.

Being relaxed definitely helps! By "trying," I actually mean "not preventing." So yeah, we take a relaxed approach. It's definitely the way to go. That way, even if something does go wrong, at least you weren't already stressed out from TTC, ykwim?
Congratulations to you on your sweet baby girl on the way! It sounds like you have a beautiful family.

It took us about nine months to get pregnant. The first months of our marriage we didn't really try, but we didn't avoid pregnancy either. And then I started to chart myself and bam! It's positive! Lol. My baby is due in January 2010, doctor said it's a girl! Yay!

It took me a little over 4 years with my first born, just over 2 years with my 2nd, and a little over 5 years to conceive the 3rd time around. Unfortunately I miscarried with the last pregnancy. That was back in the end of 2005. My husband and I have been trying since, but so far we haven't had any luck.

I have had 5 pregnancies, 4 live births. 3 of my pregnancies happened the very first month, 1 happened the 2nd month and 1 happened the week we discussed that we would start trying in about 8 months (she was born right around the time we planned to TTC her). Having lost 1 baby myself, my heart goes out to you. Pregnancy and babies seem to come along on their own time. How often do people who are actively trying to prevent pregnancy, end up pregnant and how often do those who are actively TTC/not preventing pregnancy, struggle to conceive. It sometimes seems unfair, but everythin works out the way it does for a reason.

it took us about almost 2years of trying, finally im at my 38weeks of my pregnancy.. i excited already of my upcoming baby girl...my hubby and i are planning to have another one maybe after 8months of our baby..
