Too many news channels

Do you think there should be a restriction on the number of new channels? I think it is funny that the same news gets repeated in all the channels.

The only restriction should be by what the market will bear; after all we do have freedom of speech. I do think that the big three networks should be made to admit how biased they are toward liberalism and the Democrats.

It may be the same news repeated on every channel but it will be a slightly different point of view. I do not think there should be a restriction on the number of news channels. People no longer read newspapers and we all have a responsibility to keep up with what is going on the the world. Not just in our neighborhood, city, state or country. I feel the the general population of the USA does not pay close enough attention to what is happen in the rest of the world. If you went to France, Spain or Germany for example the people there know more about world events than the average American. I think that is a sad state of affairs.

That is true. The average american should increase his awareness about the world events.
