yes it can be hard when you lose the people you love and care about but when you get depressed which i do too at times, just think how lucky you are to be here and how short life is, sometimes people don't think about appreciating the things like your health and simply lack of major problems, then when they get older and health is not the best they look back and think i would give abything to have those old daus back, just being without major health problems is a blessing...just appreciate the time you have.....and sometimes when you help someone out even just to make someone happy can make you feel good, i have a little thing that I try to make at least one person happy every day..we all can make a difference just by making someone happy...

I love your attitude, lilaclady! What a wonderful way to get our minds off the problems in our own life! Can you imagine how much improved this world would be if we'd all try to make at least one person happy every day?!

I use to manage depression, listening musiq, playing violen and i like chocolates, and i feel i get refreshed after having my chocolates. And best remedy is Meditation, try breathing exercise, it will help you balance and handle depression.

It's very difficult to cope with the loss of friends and family. How long have your parents been gone? Lots of people get depressed when they think about loved ones who are decesed, so don't get down on yourself for being blue. Have you ever sat down and written a list of all the things you have to be thankful for? This is something that helps a lot of people come out of their depression. Focusing on others and trying to help them is a good way to stop thinking about one's own depression. Good luck and hang in there!

Hey, Yea I really feel your pain, but try and look at what you have, not at what you don't have. Try and think of all the good things you can do with your life now, not just sit down in your depression every single day. Make sure you have a good day, God bless and Happy Lotting!!
