your path to heaven?

I guess it will determine on what you have done in your life. If you're truly good and you only desire what's best for your neighbors and you never harbor hatred towards them then that may show you the path towards heaven. That would also reflect your religion's teachings. I believe a religion would always promote goodness towards others, towards oneself, and towards their relationship with God. Also, your faith in God will always show you the way and that same faith will always promote goodness in thoughts and in deeds.
