Hi friends, I just want to know your opinion in here. Which one would you prefer - Contact lenses or Eye glasses? For me, I have both of those, since i have a blurred vision. For work I used my contact lenses when going to work or to a mall, but I am at house during weekends I use my eye glasses instead to let my eyes rest for its 5 days use of contact lenses. But sometimes I want to use contact lenses instead of the eye glasses. I don't know but sometimes I don't feel to wear glasses, so since these days, i am fond of wearing or using my contact lenses everyday from Monday to Sunday and I don't use it only when I'm sleeping. Because I am using a disposable contact lenses. You fellow mylotters, which one do you prefer? Happy mylotting to all!!!! ;o)

Hi there, Sometimes my vision is blurred even though I am wearing contact lenses, I guess my eyes are tired of getting used for long hours. I remember when I go to church at first I can clearly read the songs and the psalm in the projector, but when minutes passed, it became blurred and I haven't read clearly then when I rest my eyes of not reading anymore, then when I read again, it became clear again. I guess I have to practice myself by using my glasses again. Thanks for sharing....;o)

If I have a choice, I would go for contact lenses. But since I can't afford to buy one and I'm scared of putting anything into my eyes, I would choose eye glasses instead. My eyes are blurry too just like yours. In fact, it has been this way since I was in elementary. It really saddens me that I still have to get close to the blackboard just to be able to read the writings clearly. When it comes to school and my studies, my eyes are my greatest enemies. I only started wearing eye glasses during my last year in high school. I regret not using it sooner. That's it.. Happy myLotting

Oh I see. That's the reason why my eyes got really blurry too.. It's been my habit to read romance novels even when the light is poorly lit. I also wash my eyes immediately upon getting up from bed.. That's why me eyes really got blurry.. My vision is not normal anymore. It's really worse for my age.. I'm only 17.. I also feel old and uncomfortable too when wearing eye glasses because eyeglasses doesn't really look good on me.. But I have no choice. If I don't wear it then I won't make it through school.. Happy posting..

Hi Aya, I guess were the same. I was diagnosed to have a nearsighted eyesight. So when it is far from me, I cannot see anymore. It started when I was in College. I use to wash my face very often and I read books even if the lights is too little. So this is what I get, to have a blurred vision. At first, I don't want to choose contact lenses too, but when I wear glasses it doesn't make me comfortable to it and I think I look older wearing glasses, so I begin to wear contact lenses and till now I use it everyday and I will say that I am a professional in a sense wearing them and taking off the lenses easily and without mirrors in front of me. Try it and I'm sure you will be comfortable using it. Thanks for sharing....;o)

If I need to use one, I prefer contact lenses with color different from my eye color. I don't like to wear eye glasses it will just make me look older. I believe also that contact lenses are more convenient to use.

Hi Yonkie, Yes, sometimes I buy those one with colors, but I only use them during any special occasions. The most I buy is the one with a natural color or clear contact lenses only. I use it for everyday use, since the one with color is much expensive than the clear one. So I only use it when there is a party or occasion in the house, but for everyday use I use the clear contact lenses most of the time. Thanks for sharing....;o)

Hi Chingmerry, I assume you don't have any problems in your eyes so you don't usually using it. My Mom has no eyesight problem but she have a reading glass, I think when you get older eye problem is one those. I have a staff here in the bank that have eyesight problem and she have glasses but she doesn't wear them as usual. She just wear it when going home and going to work. But at work she make it a point to use her eyes without glasses when balancing reports. Said that she practice her eyes that way. Thanks for sharing....;o)

I haven't used contact lens before so you know my answer. :) I always feel that it is so troublesome to use contact lens as you can't wear it for too long and you have to use your bare hand to put that contact lens into the eyes.... feel very uncomfortable to me. Wearing eye glasses is much simpler, take it out put it on. And what's more, you can buy more glasses of different styles so as to mix and match.

Hi Faisai, Yes, I agree with, even myself who is using contact lenses is having difficulty in it. Sometimes when I wear them, then it hurts I have to take off it again and then put solution to it again to clean it then try to put it on again. Yes sometimes I feel that it is so troublesome for me. But I guess I have used to it and I have many packs of it just for emergency that in case my contact lenses is not okay to wear anymore. I am just using a disposable lenses so I make it sure that I have extra of those. Within these days I will try again to wear glasses during weekends and I am at house only. ;o) Thanks for sharing....;o)

I have actually used both contact lenses and eye glasses and I prefer to use my glasses because they are practical and it's easier for me to put on and take my glasses off then to fool around with the contacts. The contacts also irritate my eyes if I haven't used then in a while and until my eyes adjust it can be a bit of an inconvenience. Since I have disposable contacts, I use them for special occasions or if I'm going to go somewhere but usually for work and for everyday I am wearing my glasses.

Hi Harry, I think I am the opposite of you...;o) I always use my contact lens for everyday use and I often use my glasses. Yes, I agree with you glasses is more convenient to use than lenses, but I don't think I will be able to wear glasses for long time, I feel that there is something hanging in my nose and I don't like the feeling of wearing glasses, but sometimes I said to myself that I should practice to wear glasses for its easy usage. I will try it one of these days, but first I need to find my glasses.... Thanks for sharing...;o)

Hi there, Yes, somebody told me to wear glasses instead, because it is comfortable to use and no hassle. You can just wear it anytime and you don't have to worry about taking a nap on travel. Not just like contact lenses, you cannot nap when traveling and you cannot take them away easily. Thanks for sharing....;o)

I only wear glasses. I wish I could wear contacts but I can't put anything near my eys let alone inside. So I have to deal with glasses. I'm lucking that I don't have to wear them all the time only for distance.

Hi Lelin, That's good to hear from you, that you don't have to wear glasses all the time. Mine, I always wear contact lenses all the time, because if I don't I can't see clearly and I just only see shadows, I can't see the face clearly. So It is advise to me that I should wear it all the time. And it is needed in my work, I am working in a bank so it is really needed to use contact lenses when I am balancing accounts and figures. Thanks for sharing...;o)

ive tried using both glasses and contact lenses and like you said they both have their individual advantage when used in certain situations.i work a lot and usually long hours so for me to use contact lenses is a bit difficult specially when you like taking short naps in between (which requires you to take the lenses off), glasses are just more comfortable and easier to maintain :)

Hi Drumgurl, Yes, I agree with you, glasses are easy to maintain and easy to use. I also experience in some situations like when we are traveling and it requires long hours of riding in a bus or plane, all my friends and family are taking a nap, while me is widely awake because it is been to difficult to me if I have to take off my lenses then wear them again. So I have no choice but to stay awake all the hours of our travel. But I guess I have to learn to wear my glasses again. Thanks for sharing....;o)

I prefer wearing glasses because they are more convenient to put on and to take off. But I also like to use contact lenses for special occasions. I like using contact lenses with colors that are different from the color of my eyes.

Hi Turones, Yes, glasses are more convenient than wearing contact lenses. But I guess it depends on the person and the occasion or place you will want to go. But then some people are adjusted easily to wear glasses than lenses and others are much comfortable to use lenses than glasses. Like me, I feel don't good about wearing glasses, but i have both glasses and lenses, but I don't know why I can't seem to last longer wearing glasses, I feel like theres something in my nose and my eyes. So when I tried lenses, at first I have difficulty in wearing it but I adjust to it easily. Thanks for sharing....;o)
