Is the sexuality of a person a factor in voting for your AMERICAN IDOL?

I saw some messages about Adam and Kris, and most of the time, one of the reasons that prevents some people from voting for Adam in spite of his good performances is... his being not a straight guy. Does it matter? Do you think some people are being fair for making it as their basis of judgment? (Anyway, we are all entitled to our own opinion.) Thanks! Wanna hear from you!

gender does not matter for as long as one can sing. however, its not the case just the same for adam and kris - i still go for kris. his style is more suave than adam. if im sitting alone or with my wife on a fine afternoon - i'd rather have the music of kris playing in the background as compared to the theatrical style of adam - i don't like much of screaming, and loud music. insane????

i am not sure if Adam is gay or not, but i say who gives a F*&K!!! he is an amazing singer and i think he was robbed last night. watching last night made me so sad to know the better singer didn't win. and if it's because they think he is gay, then to all of those people who didn't vote for him i said F*^K YOU!!!

well in my own opinion, adam is okay with me regardless of his gender... i just don't like the way he screams when he sings... if you'll look at it professionally it seems that adam is a more experienced performer but anyway, admit it or not, one of the qualifications for an american idol is based on the overall package of a person so maybe that's why allen won the competition. sorry for the allen fans here, but i'm not being biased as much as possible. personally, gokey is still my american idol and i've just commented based on my own observation

I hope people only vote based on whose performance they liked best. Not everyone will agree on who was best. It is all based on their perception of a performance. I personally like Kris better but it has nothing to do with Adams sexuality preferences. I would buy an album of Kris's but don't think I would enjoy Adam screaming at me inside my car.
