trusting someone again

ok say someone you where married to or in a relationship with broke your trust a couple of times would you be able to trust them again or not, also how many times does your trust in someone have to be broke in order for you to never trust them again?

For me if someone breaks my trust trust just once that is more than enough. I would never trust them again. And from then on i will double check on everything they say or do. But i keep the relationship alive, breaking my trust would not automatically result in the end of the relationship. Because i understand that it is very difficult for many of us to be true all the time.

I actually went through this recently....for the third time with my (now ex) bf....will I ever trust him again....well no..not right away..he'd have to work BEYOND hard to earn my trust back..and I mean work HARD...for months...
